7503-19 Lot of two infill smoothing planes. One with cast brass body, closed tote, stained hardwood fill. 8-3/4" long, 2-1/4" Hernshaw Bros. iron, shield cutout in brass lever cap. Engraving plate on bun, tote is repaired with a brass plate and horn; overall wear. Other has 9-1/4" cast iron sole and body, 2-1/4" Mathieson iron, stained hardwood fill, heart and shield cutouts in lever cap, moderate rust and pitting on sole, wear to wood and tip of horn has chip.
