7501-131 Lot of two BUCKEYE smoothing planes. Both 9" long, one marked Buckeye and other marked DE04C (Diamond Edge) but both made by Buckeye Saw Vise Co. of Cleveland, with Buckeye marked cutter and Diamond Edge marked cutter, respectively. Both have patent dates cast behind frog, wheatsheaf carvings on softwood totes with wear and chips, Buckeye has crack in knob. Buckeye has either casting flaws or smoothed chips in sole.
