7003-127 A.C. SPICER fore plane. Able Chapman Spicer was a planemaker and carpenter in Connecticut in the turn of the 19th century and is 3 stars in AWP. Roughly 16" long, tote may be replacement, 2" BUTCHER cutter, some wear to wood and lacquer, especially at top of plane in front of blade. A few stains and age checks. With a little TLC it would make a nice example of a fairly uncommon planemaker. Good 35-70 (REW700)
