* 7002-312. Lot of two spring calipers. L.W. POND patented outside calipers, marked Worchester, MA, and 9/24/1867 date, 6" legs. And 5" inside calipers by UNION CALIPER CO., Orange, MA, which came earlier than Union Tool Co., and roughly dates to 1911-1916, with unusual notched screw controlled locking mechanism. Good 30-60
