Kellogg of Battle Creek made a lot of money trading on the name of the more famous Kelloggs to sell patent medicine, but before that he patented this strange patented "French Tailor's Square" on 12/25/83. What it has to do with tailoring is not clear, but it's an ingenious folding square with a locking brace. Light wear and dinging, some small staining.
