7402-192 BISHOP patented backsaw. Patented in 1906 by Frederick Wuest but manufactured by Bishop after they relocated to Lawrenceburg, IN, and usually marked with the Lawrenceburg location. Blade is clamped by a bar that allows it to be slid up or down for variable cuts, or reversed entirely to use teeth of a different pitch. Came in various lengths, this is the 12" version, decent etch, a few spots of surface rust, handle has good wheatsheaf carving and mild wear. Good (SKY292) 50-100
