Web08-166 FREIMANN aluminum plane. An odd creation with "Freimann" cast at toe but I can't find any patent information. Shaped like a plow plane with aluminum body, has a regular skate but fence has two layers of serrated blades clamped in place, brass cutter holder, leather wrapped knob and a wooden handle. Stamped 405 on one cheek. No cutters. A few have popped up made of brass and more elaborate in design, but this is one of only a couple aluminum ones I've seen with serrated fences. (HNL976)
