7304-179 UNION FACTORY No. 197 handled screw-arm adjustable sash plane. Screw-arm type, beech with boxwood arms and nuts. The tote is on the left side, both sides cut a bevel (profile 7 in Fig. 13:49 in Whelan). Very clean, has holes in left side sole as if fence may have been nailed on. Has 1/4" dowel inserted at top part of plane near toe. (BLY087)
