7302-045 FRAMBES patent gravity inclinometer. One of the rarest and most complicated of the gravity inclinometers, patented in 1884 by Richard Frambes of Bakersville, NJ, with a distinctive sliding locking mechanism and beveled vial cover. 24" long, looks like cherry, wood unfortunately has major staining on one end and spots of staining throughout the side with mechanism. Mechanism works smoothly with original cover, one screw missing. Good (GFE213) 300-600
