FTJWEB04-137 Lot of three metal braces. A Spofford chuck brace by FRAY & PIGG, 10" sweep, large rectangular thumbscrew, iron head with "10" on reverse, surface corrosion. One with Draper's patent clamshell chuck, unmarked but probably by Quimby Backus, 7" sweep, good head and grip. And one with a very faint mark that we believe is Stackpole's 1867 patent, 9" sweep, tight crack in lignum head. (SWR149,150)
