7501-232 RODIER patent jack plane. 14-1/2" sole. Toe is cracked, welded breaks on both cheeks. Overall rusty. Rodier's patent was for his adjustment mechanism, intended to simultaneously regulate the set of the cutter and the width of the mouth, but his planes are best known for their corrugated sides and the serpentine grooves cast into the sole.
