7402-68 Lot of two wedge-arm hawk planes. Used to strike a paint line around the hull of a ship, hawk planes have a vee shaped sole and cutter. See Whelan, pg. 154. Both unmarked. One has a 13" sole with wooden depth stop, missing wedges on arms, closed tote. Other is unhandled with 9" iron lined sole, has ebony or lignum strip down the center of the toe.
