Web08-320 Trying plane with handle. Could be described as a fore plane based on 17" sole, with a 3" iron. Beside the open tote, it has a hook in front of the throat that can be used to pull it, and a long swivel mounted handle. It's a configuration we haven't seen and may have been intended for pushing, although the hook keeps the user from pushing it straight. Unsigned and undoubtedly user made. Well done and clean, noting a recent scrape on the handle. (SCA1185)
