7002-025. J.P. Millener MILLENER & CO. unhandled screw arm plow plane. Beech with boxwood nuts and arms, tight check in one nut and moderate chipping to threads. There are some notches in the edge of the body that look intentional and a small hole by the depth stop, some wear to wedge. Millener was from Rochester but had a contract to make tools using convict labor at the Kingston, Ont., penitentiary, the plane is marked Kingston, which is not listed in AWP. Uncommon maker.
