Brass and wood are very clean, the characteristic C&C scroll mark, stamped both on the body and cast into the head medallion are worn but clear. Crack in the head and possibly one in ebony near the chuck, some rust around screws, wood separating from frame in one section. Someone etched "In Drill This Side" in brass by the chuck.
