7003-257 Lot of three R. IONSON planes. A 1/4" tongue and groove pair, one has finial missing on wedge, some staining and dinging on body, wear on a few spots of the sole of tongue plane, same user name stamps on both. Plus a 3/4" round plane, sole has wear on edges especially at toe and heel, some staining, a little chewing on wedge. All three have C mark, 2 stars. Ionson (Jonson) worked in the Connecticut River valley in the early 1800s. Good 60-120 (SHN040, 074, 077)
