7002-123. CHARLES BILLINGS patent vise. The jaws are marked with Billings' 1894 patent for a hand vise designed for jewelers and toolmakers, but it's mounted as a bench vice. We've seen a couple of these and it was definitely manufactured, probably by Billings & Spencer. Japanning mostly worn off but works smoothly and rust free. A rare vise. Good+ 60-120
